CEBU REGAL PENSION HOUSE located at 9A Junquera Extension 6000 Cebu City PH# 255-6758 and it will be my first choice upon arrival as the single beds are 400 pesos ($10 cdn) and with Air Conditioning is 500 pesos ($12.50 cdn) and you get your OWN bathroom

TEO-FEL PENSION HOUSE located at 4 Junquera Extension 6000 Cebu City PH#253-2482. These rooms were decent too but started at 500 pesos ($12.50 cdn) for a basic single room with bathroom

Last night it took me 3 hours to download the photos on this blog and while they downloaded I slept as I was very tired but by 1am I couldn't sleep so just laid in my bed until 8am. It said the basic room was a shared bathroom but I didn't think it meant with 20 other people! As I went in to take my morning shower I noticed that the bathroom was filthy so I took a quick shower and as I left I ask the reception if they ever clean their bathrooms and she said they did and it would be cleaned today. So I left for my morning coffee at McDonalds and found out the coffee is only 10 pesos (25 cents) as this is what I was charged again. I certainly don't understand the billing system as I ordered 3 egg & sausage McMuffins and as I looked over my receipt I see that 2 of them were one price and the 3rd was a different price.

The Cebu Guesthouse is a good place to meet other travels as I have seen a lot of them here and usually chat with a few to get information about other places in the Philippines as other travelers are the best source for travel information. But because of the bathroom situation I will be finding another place when I eventually return to Cebu in a couple months. So on my way to town I found two budget hotels. The first one is the CEBU REGAL PENSION HOUSE located at 9A Junquera Extension 6000 Cebu City PH# 255-6758 and it will be my first choice upon arrival as the single beds are 400 pesos ($10 cdn) and with Air Conditioning is 500 pesos ($12.50 cdn) and you get your OWN bathroom and the rooms were very clean. The woman at the front desk said they don't take reservations but just "walk ins" off the street but by the way she indicated that there were always rooms available as it is off the beaten track but very close to downtown (like 60% closer than the Cebu Guesthouse).

Across the street from the Cebu Regal Pension House is the TEO-FEL PENSION HOUSE located at 4 Junquera Extension 6000 Cebu City PH#253-2482. These rooms were decent too but started at 500 pesos ($12.50 cdn) for a basic single room with bathroom and the rooms were not as good at the Regal Pension house but it is right across the street and just a couple blocks away from downtown where the action is (where all the main tourist sites are located). I am writing this information down on my blog just in case I lose their business cards I can find it here.
