February 10th 2015 Dumaguete- Day 3

Another street in Dumaguete.

A house in Valencia.

Another house in Valencia.

Went to Bacong which is just South of Dumaguete.

Valencia

Eating lechon (pig) in Dumaguete. It was very good.
In the morning I decided to rent a scooter for 5 hours 200 pesos ($5 cdn) to check out some more areas. I headed out west to a town called Valencia. It was a very nice laid back town with lots of greenery. Coconut trees everywhere and just lots of greeny leafy plants around the houses. After exploring Valencia I just followed one of the roads until it took me to the ocean and I was in Bacong. I drove around constantly for 4 hours until my ass was killing me due to sitting for so long so I was driving back to Dumaguete and saw some other roads that I thought would lead me back to the city but took me farther north to Sibulan so I headed back south along the coast knowing at some point I would be entering Dumaguete again. I stopped at a restaurant and had some pig. It was very good. I dropped off the scooter and headed back to my hotel.

Tomorrow morning I will be grabbing the Ceres Bus to Bacolod and probably stay there between 4-7 days and see how I like it there.
