February 12th 2015 Bacolod City- Day 1

Definitely a sight I like to see at 5am in a foreign country as you can NEVER go wrong with their BREWED COFFEE. Of course there is no cream for the coffee but only cheap coffee mate but what do you expect for 25 cents per cup.

PS: Cookie Monster peeking at me at left side of photo.
After my morning coffee I tried to walk to the ocean which was all one big industrial park with C-cans stacked up and oil tankers.

After walking a few kilometers I came to the ocean and this was it. Just a big pile of rocks and lots of ships around.

Lots of C-cans stacked up.

A street in Bacolod City.

On my way back to my hotel I stopped at a 7-Eleven store for milk and saw they had Brandy (28% alcohol) for 85 pesos ($2.25 cdn) so I bought a bottle with some coke and a bag of ice. While I was paying for this at the counter a Filipino behind me said "Are you from Canada?" and I said "Yeah, how did you know?" and he said "I could tell by what you ordered". So see the picture above. Apparently that is what Canadians always buy haha. He said he was from Edmonton Canada. Small world. I am going to be staying inside during the day for the next few days to let my burn heal so I will be having a few drinks while surfing the internet all day.
