March 8th 2015 Boracay Island Day 5- More walking

The BLUE is where I walked the previous day around Boracay Island and the GREEN is where Raymond drove me on his scooter

This is where I walked around on Boracay Island March 8th.

This is another beach far away from the other touristy beaches.

Just saw Filipinos on this beach and no tourists.

This is the main divider as you come from the ferry to White Beach. Straight takes you to White Beach.

 

This morning as I walked to McDonalds to download pictures I saw the construction crew showing up for work and everyone was crowded around looking at this cardboard sign. Apparently Micheal Binghoy was suspended for a week. Probably sleeping on the job or a safety infraction.

After Bulabog beach I began to head south east around some filipino neighborhoods and saw a few different beach areas and then I started walking south and was a bit lost as I came to the divider as I didn't know what road to take to get back to White Beach. So I walked down the wrong road and I sort of  felt I wasn't going in the right direction and I was walking on the sidewalk and saw a big truck coming out of a gas station and coming towards me to get back on the road. Well I assumed he saw me walking on the sidewalk so kept walking not giving it much thought until I hear his brakes put on and the truck comes to a screeching halt about one foot away from me!

Well my inner tactometer usually revs at around 1-2 rpm as I am calm and go about my business but when I see that this idiot almost ran into me, my inner tactometer went from 2 rpm to 10,000 rpms (Red Lining!!) and I looked into the drivers side window but it was tinted and couldn't see the face but I yelled "JESUS FUCKEN CHRIST!!!!". I couldn't see the driver but I am sure he was shitting bricks. I then just shook my head and continued on. We always joke about asian drivers on the road in Canada but here they have some of the worst drivers. The guy was probably texting and driving and completely oblivious of anyone on the sidewalk. It made me so mad. 

I went into McDonalds this morning to download more pictures to the blog and as I waited in line some old German guy with funny eye (Probably blind in it as it was hardly open) came into McDonalds and said something to me so I made pleasant talk while we waited to be served but I had a hard time understanding his english. Anyways I get served and head to a table and start up my laptop connection and then he sits down at the table beside mine. And as I am downloading pictures to the site and doing a little researching while I wait for the pictures to download he comes up to me and starts making chit-chat but I can't understand his english and he is not getting the message that I am BUSY on the computer even when I ignore him. He is like "Zom timeZZ I get lotZ of advertiZZments on my email..." and then starts into something that I can't understand one word what he is saying to me like "Zing von da wotsen stein, ja?" and he is looking at me expecting a reply and I feel like saying "Zing zong polly wong zinga zinga zone???" at which point he would probably say "WHAT???" or "VUUTT?? and I would reply "EXACTLY!! now PISS OFF!!". Of course I am too polite to do that but I am thinking it. Finally after staring intently at my computer for a minute ignoring him he finally wanders off. I am always friendly with everyone but some people can't "read between the lines". I must admit I do hear a lot of Germans here or from Vienna and surrounding countries.

These pictures were from yesterday. Didn't do much today but went swimming and spent some time on the internet. The internet is really bad here. McDonalds has the best WI-FI but even then it doesn't always work so I grab it when I can. Sometimes I get it at Trafalgar Cottages but it doesn't last long enough to download pictures.
