March 4th 2015 Boracay Island Day 1- Walking around

White Beach, Boracay Island.

White Beach.

Yeah I got fooled too. I could see the big blue print from far away but as I got closer I saw the fine print in grey.

These are the sand walk-ways with beach on your left and restaurants and hotels on your right as you head west.

This is on the main street a few minutes walk away from the beach. I was amazed at how many Chinese and Koreas are here. A lot of the Chinese restaurants are all in mandarin. Lots of white folks here too. It is like 30% white folks. I hardly see any throughout my trip to the Philippines so far. Just the odd person here and there but Boracay is a main destination trip for Chinese and Koreans too.

There are many walk-ways like this that give access to the beach that take you from the main road to the beach between all the hotels, restaurants, and stores.
Produce stores in the alleyways from the road to the beach.

The main sand walk-way on White Beach. No motorized vehicles allowed here. Just filipino women every 50 meters saying "Massage sir?" "Sir, would you like a massage?".
There is McDonalds here where I visit in the morning (like now) since they have the best coffee and the best WI-FI connection. There is a Subway Restaurant, Pizza Hut, Shakeys and other popular restaurants along the sand walk-way of White Beach.

This is a bungy jumping in reverse where you get strapped in down below and flown upwards. Didn't see it in use since I have been here though.
