March 17th 2015 Boracay Island- Last few hours here

Last time I posted and was walking back from McDonalds and saw a bit of commotion down on the ground at a construction site and they were all looking up and that is when I saw this guy struggling. I think his friend up there is laughing because I am laughing down below and taking pictures.

As he was figuring out how to untangle himself he looked down at me as if to say "Why is white boy laughing at me down there and taking pictures of me? This is serious!!!"

There are so many times I have tripped in the Philippines because of holes and uneven sidewalks and you pretty much have to focus where you take each step. I almost sprained my ankle 3-4 times since being in Boracay and many other times in other places in the Philippines.

One of the things I read online was some Filipino like to bud in front of you in line ups. I was in Andoks restaurant the other day patiently waiting for them to take the order in front of me when a teenage girl budding in front of me and I assumed she was with the people ordering and later found out she was not. And then another guy comes in and I see he is trying to slowly INCH in front of me and get closer to the counter. I was going to say something but saw he had a 500 pesos note so thought maybe he just wanted change quickly and then leave but of course he orders and I was seriously thinking of telling him off as twice I went to tap his shoulder but I resisted and let it go. I think some of these people are under the false belief that their time is more important than my time. Just friggin ignorant!!

Well I have just a few more hours in Boracay and I am looking forward to leaving as I have spent far too much time here. I can only swim and hang out on the beach for so long and then I get bored! I will be packing my stuff and checking out of my room and grab a tricycle down to the ferry and grab a pump-boat across to Caticlan and then grab a bus to iloilo which should take around 5 hours from Caticlan to iloilo and I did make another online reservation with ONG BUN HOTEL but I know once I get there they will be telling me "Sorry sir, the person in that room has decided he wants to stay a little longer. Can we interest you in a room that is 100-200% more expensive than the one you reserved?".
