April 2nd 2015 Tagbilaran, Bohol island Day 1

In this mall beside McDonalds has a big supermarket that had everything I wanted. I was very surprised.
A street where you can see McDonalds at the very end where the mall above is located.
It is Holy week this week. The Philippines is a very religious country.
You see these signs everywhere.

Here is the boat terminal that I came from this morning.

I just spent a couple hours walking around Tagbilaran and I must say this has been the best place I have been to throughout my entire Philippines trip. It is a very laid back town with not much traffic or noise, has McDonalds and a big mall with a good super market where I saw a huge selection of good quality items for sale. I bought some C2 and Alaska milk which tastes like milk unlike the Nestle version here that I don't like.

The staff at the hotel told me some places on Bohol to check out. Chocolate hills is on my list as that is more in the middle of Bohol and I will be going to Corrella to see the Tarsiers which are bug-eyed looking monkeys in their natural habitat. I will rent a scooter from the hotel which is 500 pesos for the day and I think for the last couple days I will spend on Panglao island which is connected to Tagbilaran by a bridge. Alona beach is suppose to be nice so it will be nice to relax there on my last couple nights in the Philippines. I bought my return boat ticket back to Cebu City for 6:30am April 7th and will fly back to Canada in the early morning of April 8th.
